We are proud to announce the appointment of Rabbi Greg Wall as spiritual leader of the Sixth Street Community Synagogue.
Ordained by several of the most widely respected orthodox authorities in the world, Rav Greg is also a celebrated saxophonist, composer, and producer. Best known for his work with the pioneering ensembles Hasidic New Wave and Later Prophets, his distinctive blend of Jazz, World and Jewish music has been featured on many recordings, and he performs frequently at top venues throughout the world. He brings an infectious enthusiasm to his shiurim on Jewish philosophy and texts, kashrut, Shabbat and the festivals. We look forward to having him present his unique approach to Judaism and the arts through Shabbat services, evening classes, and concerts.
Please join us as we officially install him as Rabbi on Saturday night, Oct 31, at 8:30, followed by an evening of his music featuring many of his associates from throughout his 30 year musical career.
